"WANDERING MEMORIES" - EN

In this collection, my typographic research meets the experience of travel as a metaphor for living.
What remains are not the fleeting images, but what has marked the mind and the heart: fragments of emotions, encounters, silences — traces that continue to move within us.

Each work is born from isolated letters, cells of meaning that do not form words but layer themselves like memories: some vivid, some blurred, others still wandering, searching for a place to rest.
Language becomes an inner geography, an invisible map that preserves the essence of what we have lived, beyond the mere chronicle of the journey.

Thus Wandering Memories does not narrate seeing, but remembering. Not the landscape, but its inner echo. Not the time that passes, but what remains — transformed into sign.

In questa collezione la mia ricerca tipografica incontra l’esperienza del viaggio come metafora del vivere.
Non sono le immagini effimere a restare, ma ciò che ha inciso la mente e il cuore: frammenti di emozioni, incontri, silenzi, tracce che continuano a muoversi dentro di noi.

Ogni opera nasce da lettere isolate, cellule di senso che non compongono parole ma si stratificano come ricordi: alcuni nitidi, altri sfumati, altri ancora erranti, in cerca di un luogo in cui fermarsi.
Il linguaggio diventa geografia interiore, mappa invisibile che custodisce la sostanza di ciò che abbiamo vissuto, oltre la cronaca del viaggio.

Così Memorie Erranti non racconta il vedere, ma il ricordare. Non il paesaggio, ma la sua eco interiore. Non il tempo che passa, ma quello che resta, trasformato in segno.
